Cent For Future 2008

Acting in agreement and in cooperation with Province Chairmen in 2004, the POLISH MARKET launched the “CENT FOR FUTURE” competition. Run since then very year, it is designed to promote companies, services and products available on the Polish market which augur the best success in the country and in the EU.

The competition is held in two categories:
• Selected in the “The Hope of the Polish market” category are companies which distinguish themselves from others in the respective province in terms of best development prospects and capability to compete on the Polish and European markets.
• Selected in the “Products with a Future” category are goods or services that are most innovative or stand out in terms of special market attributes.

The competition is run in two stages:
Merchandising During the first stage, the Province Chairmen nominate one company in each category. Nomination may cover only companies which augur the biggest chance of market success in view of their production scope, employment size, export prospects, pro-ecological values and novel technological solutions. The Province Chairman certifies the nomination in person picking up the nominees from among those companies that have their seat in the respective province.
The nomination is to be submitted by 28 February 2008.

Łóżko Participating in the second stage are exclusively companies which won the title of the CENT FOR FUTURE competition laureate in the previous year. As a result, three companies in each category will receive the “GOLDEN EURO” award. The nominees have to submit a filled-out questionnaire giving data about their company’s business results. The criteria of choice and the contents of the questionnaire were drawn up by the Institute of Economics at the Polish Academy of Sciences.

The “GOLDEN EURO” award chapter will be appointed by ”POLISH MARKET”. The chapter will meet by March 18 and select three laureates in each category.

Please note: The competition awards are solely of a prestigious nature and do not result in any obligations both in view of the companies taking part as well as the Province Chairman Offices. All the costs of arranging the competition are borne by ”POLISH MARKET” and potential sponsors. The POLISH MARKET editorial staff will do its utmost to assure impartiality and objectivity at each stage of the Competition.

The results of the 4th “CENT FOR FUTURE” competition will be announced at a special gala event on 21 April 2008 r. at the Royal Castle in Warsaw.
